I wasn't even looking for a dog but I was perusing PetFinder and
came upon a picture of this guy. It was fate. Not to sound cliche,
but his picture spoke to me and I knew I had to have him.
So, this is Buford T Justice. He resides in Cherry Hill, NJ. He
came to us dirty, covered in fleas and with battle scars. After a
flea bath and some tlc, I knew we were on the right road. Buford
wasn't affectionate, AT FIRST. He was very curious, following all
the new scents and sounds of NJ. He is so strong, I was unable to
walk him, AT FIRST. We spent a lot of money on toys. He didn't know
how to play with them. I don't think he's ever known a
toy.
Since Buford came to us in May, he has moved mountains! He's a
great leash walker. He is a lover. He lets my 3 yr old daughter
dress him up. He tags along with my 5 yr old son in the yard. He
travels 300 miles with us, once a month, to Potter Co, PA. He goes
on a 2 miles walk with me every night.
I couldn't imagine my life without him.
