| Happy Tails | Scout (Kourtney Wilson)
I just wanted to send an update on Scout (who was named Kourtney Wilson) whom we adopted this past Father's Day. Scout is doing really well, living with her three feline sisters. One cat is her particular favorite, and the other two sort of tolerate her presence She loves sleeping with us, and her meaning in life is to be playing outside with other dogs. We eventually plan to get her a companion through Wags, but currently our 17 year old cat is declining so we don't wish to add another animal to the house right now. Scout will soon be starting training with Therapy Dogs International so that she can come to work with me, I work in a cancer center in Philadelphia as a social worker. She has been the perfect fit for us (despite the early days chewing on the banister, baseboard, typical puppy stuff, etc), and everyone that meets her remarks how well she does with other animals and people (kids especially). She could literally be everyone's best friend. She is the perfect dog!!! The best part about her is how unique looking she is, as we get to know her we think she has a combination of shepherd and husky, but she also has some greyhound quirks!
