| Happy Tails | Locust (Smoothie)
We just wanted to write in to let you know how much we just love Smoothie! We renamed him Locust, Loq("Loke") for short. Named after my favorite black locust tree in the yard because Loq is black and because he came to us in the spring when Locusts bloom their sweet smelling flowers and Loq is just the sweetest of pups. He came to us shortly after we lost our beloved canine family member, Tuk. He came right in and was immediately accepted by our cat and dog, which is not the case with previous foster puppies. He is such a happy spirit and smart as a whip! He even displays some unique qualities/behaviors that our boy Tuk used to. Whether he has some of our late boy's energy in him or we just lucked out...Loq has not only helped with the healing process, but he brings so much joy to our lives! We just feel so incredibly grateful to you for rescuing him when he needed rescuing and facilitating this awesome match so he could rescue us when we needed it. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!❤️
