| Happy Tails | Theo (Moody Blue)
Hi. I am Susan Ingram. My husband Jeff and I adopted Moody Blue (we renamed him Theo) on Aug 19 and we are happy to report we have found our forever dog! Theo is a sweetie and is growing fast! He is doing well, has adjusted to family life with us and our 22 year old son, and enjoying lots of walks playtime. We couldn’t be happier and hope that he is happy with us too.
Since he came home with us, he has:
- been on walks in our neighborhood
- met dog friends as well as people friends everywhere he goes
- played with balls of all sizes and many toys
- chewed on antlers and many chew toys—and maybe a few other things he shouldn’t. (we’re trying to stop this, but it is hard to be stern when he looks so cute)
- slept on our couch, every easy chair in our family room, and a lawn chair outside on the patio
- had lots of yummy treats
- been to the local park with a large lake where he chased minnows and “scared away” a kayak by barking at it
- played with a large soccer ball and a tug rope with all of us
- given his new family lots of love and happiness
I did write to Faye Newkirk in NC, as well as Lisa Sherwood, to share our news and thank them for loving him until we were lucky enough to find him.
Thank you to all the volunteers at Wags, who make sure these dogs and cats find good homes and care for them while they wait.
